Hmm ... When I tried (and failed) to explain again how the internet works, I somehow (well, purposefully) got to the search engines. Not knowing what to search for, I just put my name in (this is also known as ego-surfing). I didn´t think it would find much, but some pages it yet returned ... Here's a small ego-stroking list of what Google has to say about me ...

A computer science contest result (TCEA, if you need to know). They have a nice little picture of me somewhere, try to spot who I am ;-) (hint : one-man-team)

And another contest, held at the same college. Since this is an ego-stroking page, I´ll say that I´d have won had I not accidentally deleted the solution to a 30-point-problem at the beginning. Morale : backup. Everything.

Hmm ... Completely forgot I was on the fido some time ago ... Well, anyway. These are the results of the X-Trivia, a trivia related to the X-Files TV show. Pretty weird to find this on-line :)

While on Fido, I actually helped out in some projects. Most of them aren´t online, but this one is. The x86 Assembler FAQ ... (german) Unfortunately, that site has since gone out of comission, but archive.org still has an archived copy :)

Well, when this BBS still existed, I called it every once in a while (actually I got my packets on network sessions, but does that really matter ?). The sysop of it isn´t all that thourough, so some marks of his box remain in the wild ;)

A Remnant of an older site at my former school ...

Some humor I transcribed to the computer 1996ish ... Somebody put that on the web, so now Google finds it :)

A post on the DEMO.GER Fido-Echo. Times long gone, but some people archive these things :)

Thanks to The Internet Archive, one can even find sites that do not exist anymore. This is one of them. Just some small parts of it were archived (stopping at the background, incidentally), nevertheless it's there :)

Another one of those archives; groups.google.com keeps record of what is going on on the usenet ... It will even find some posts I made over 7 years ago. Of course not all of them, but it´s a beginning :) Some of the posts I´d be rather embarassed about had there not been that timespan between now and then :) Maybe I´ll dig out some messages out of my own archives when I´m feeling particularily ready to be embarassed :)
